30.04.2004 : A message from Veli Namık Yaşin

So, more than a year passed since the last update. After our graduation from high school, the band got scattered to different parts of the planet. It's been almost a year since we didn't see each other and during this time period, we barely had the chance to talk to each other and I myself lost almost all contact with our bass player Ercan. So from May 20th on, a new era will begin for Metally Ill. I will work hard to find a new bass player or at least someone who can session for our first demo which is scheduled to come out by the end of this summer. We still didn't make a decision about what to do with drums yet. It can be handled by someone in the band, samples can be used or we might welcome a new member to the Metally Ill. It all depends on the musical direction we plan on taking. This past year a lot of fucked up things happened in my personal world and also in planet earth. But fortunately it has been a very productive year emotionally and I am sure me and my friends will make the best of everything and use our experiences in producing our own music. In the meantime check the updated members and downloads sections. Also we replaced our mp3.com site with audiostreet.net. 10.03.2003 : New bass player!

We are proud to announce that Ercan Uz (Murat 131) will join us as the bass player for the recording of our first demo. When asked about his emotions, he said that he was honored by being offered this position and admitted that it would be foolish to reject this offer.

10.03.2003 : New members?

Metally Ill guitarist Ömer Kehri stated, that there is no way of the popular drummer Hayrullah Canbazoglu (Crackwise) joining the band.

We are still auiditing possible bass players and drummers. We will inform you, as soon as we think we have found the right members for the band.
